Dry Van Truckload
With our fleet of late model tractors and air-ride, high-cube trucks, we transport your cargo. You have the resources of clean, professional-looking equipment with full cargo capacity and limited equipment downtime, combined with our robust maintenance program. Our high ratio of three-to-one trailer to tractor also enables customers to save time and money by loading spotted in advance.
Mirakot Transport provides the semi-truck as one of the most common forms of trailers used by commercial trucking companies to transport freight through North American highways and interstates. It's what dry van shipping is called by the industry. When shipping domestically, or between Canada and the USA, when your shipment needs to stay dry, we offer 53' tandem and tridem axle dry vans that do not need temperature.
Flat Deck Freight
In order to fulfill the particular needs of customers transporting special equipment or products, Mirakot Transport provides a flatbed service. We specialize in loads that, but can still legally travel on the road, are large, over-sized, overweight, or any combination thereof. Our service is suitable for building sites or shipping points that have no dock available or need rapid loading and unloading for projects on the move with time-sensitive schedules.
Our trailers feature both decks of steel and aluminum, and we sell expandable 48 ', 53' and 90 '. The size of these trailers is up to 52,000 lbs. (The limit is 44,000 lbs on expandable trailers.)
Refrigerated Freight
When transporting a large load of goods needing temperature-controlled conditions, Reefer trucks and vans are great options. A standard reefer truck or van is 1 ton or larger and comes either directly to the frame or transported by trailer with a refrigeration unit. Diesel-powered generators and liquid carbon dioxide, or CO2, give cool temperatures. Since reefer transport services usually carry hundreds of thousands of dollars in perishable products, automatic warning systems are set up to notify the driver of any temperature changes so that the driver can take corrective measures and keep the product quality safe and in perfect condition upon delivery. For goods that need refrigeration before final distribution, reefer trucks are the logical option, such as grocery, medical supplies, plasma, blood and photographic supplies.
Intermodal Rail Freight Service
The word Intermodal simply implies that more than one mode of transport can transfer your cargo. It would, in our case, be a truck-rail-truck. Our Intermodal Freight service is very close to the services offered by road truckloads. Your freight will be picked up by truck and shipped. Full intermodal (truck-train-truck) terminal services are provided and organized through our direct relationship with the major rail freight carriers. Containers and trailers are loaded and unloaded from trains and the connection between intermodal terminals and the customer is provided by trucks. Your freight is picked up from your dock by truck and transported to your customers' dock by truck.
Step Deck
Without intermediate loading techniques, Mirakot Transport provides step-deck trailers for quick loading, changing and moving of cargo, which helps minimize safety risks and ensures that loads arrive in good condition and on schedule at the final destination. The trailer is suitable for short- and long-haul transit shipping of specialized cargo safely through Canada and the United States of America, from bulk goods to heavy machinery. All of our trailers are fitted with dunnage, tarps, straps and other equipment to secure and protect loads We sell a range of step-deck, double-drop and stretch trailers to safely transport long, over-sized and large loads throughout Canada and the United States. After clearing the tractor unit, the floor of step-deck trailer drops down, providing additional clearance for transporting cargo that reaches the height threshold of conventional flatbed trailers.
LTL Freight
For the transport of small cargo or when freight does not require the use of an entire trailer, less than truckload freight shipping (LTL) is used. When freight weighs between 150 and 15,000 pounds, this shipping technique can be used. The shipper pays for the portion of a standard truck trailer that their cargo occupies while shipping LTL, while other shippers and their shipments occupy the unoccupied area. Shipping through LTL has a range of advantages.
You only pay for the portion of the trailer used when booking an LTL shipment. The other occupants of the trailer's space cover the remainder of the cost.
